FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions:
Where do your tours start? Tours typically begin at your hotel in Anzio or from the Anzio train station. If you're staying in Rome, the train ride to Nettuno is scenic, quick, and straightforward, with frequent departures from Roma Termini station. I recommend taking the 8:12 am train, arriving at Nettuno at 9:35 am. Visit Treni Italia’s website for schedules and bookings.
For those preferring door-to-door service, I can arrange a private transfer from Rome to Anzio for an additional fee. Contact me for more details.
Do you personally guide all the tours? Absolutely. Every tour booked through Anzio Tours is personally led by me, Dr. Danila Bracaglia.
What is the cost of a tour? Pricing varies based on group size, vehicle type, and itinerary. Contact me via email for a personalized quote tailored to your specific needs.
What itineraries are available? I specialize in custom tours based on your interests but also offer well-established itineraries that have been successfully running for years. Get in touch to learn more.
What time do the tours start and end? The typical tour runs from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, approximately seven hours. If you are staying in Anzio or nearby, I can adjust the schedule to better suit your plans.
What vehicle is used for the tours? I utilize a comfortable Mercedes Benz Vito 9-seater, equipped with WiFi, air conditioning, and video displays to showcase historical documentaries and relevant footage.
What if I don’t receive a reply to my email? I personally handle all emails and aim to respond within 3-4 hours. However, during peak season (May to October), response times may vary. If you haven't received a reply within two days, please try emailing again or use a different email account (Gmail and other web-based providers often work best).
What should I wear? Comfortable shoes and layered clothing, including a waterproof jacket. Umbrellas will be provided if needed.
Looking forward to welcoming you onboard and guiding you through this unforgettable historical experience.
